Kind Science

by Ellen DeGeneres

TikTok Shop Coordinator

Reports to: Sr. Director of Social Commerce & Creator Partnerships | Hybrid — 2 days/week in El Segundo, CA | Full-Time | Compensation $65k to $75k

ABOUT THE ROLE

Kind Science is a fast-growing beauty and wellness brand built on the belief that science and kindness go hand in hand. As we launch and scale our TikTok Shop presence, we’re looking for a Social Commerce Creator Programs Coordinator to work directly alongside our Sr. Director of Social Commerce & Creator Partnerships.

This is a ground-floor opportunity to help shape how Kind Science shows up in social commerce. You'll be embedded in the day-to-day of our creator and affiliate program — executing outreach, managing relationships, and supporting campaigns. You'll also have real input into how we do things: if you see a smarter approach or a creator strategy worth exploring, we want to hear it.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Creator/Social & Affiliate Program

  • Co-manage TikTok Shop creator and affiliate programs from outreach through performance tracking
  • Identify creators who are a strong match for Kind Science's products, values, and audience
  • Handle creator communications — outreach, follow-ups, re-engagement, and campaign instructions
  • Track deliverables, posting timelines, product shipments, and affiliate activity
  • Bring ideas to the table — if you spot a creator worth pursuing or a tactic worth testing, say so
  • Post to TikTok & create a plan of scheduled content and manage TikTok community
  • Video editing experience preferred / ability to create content

Sampling & Operations

  • Support product sampling workflows inside TikTok Shop Seller Center and Affiliate Center
  • Monitor sample volume, creator acceptance, and content output — flag issues before they compound
  • Handle backend tasks including approving samples, creating campaign links, and updating trackers

Reporting & Performance

  • Update dashboards and trackers tied to creator program health, GMV, and affiliate activity
  • Monitor key metrics: sample volume, content output, clicks, conversions, and creator performance
  • Spot opportunities — products that need more creator support, campaigns with low conversion, creators worth reactivating

Team Collaboration

  • Support meeting prep, weekly updates, and account documentation for the Social Commerce team
  • Follow through on action items after calls so nothing falls through the cracks
  • Collaborate closely with the Sr. Director — you'll be a trusted voice, not just a task executor

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

30 Days — You understand Kind Science's TikTok Shop setup and creator workflows. You're actively contributing to trackers, backend tasks, and creator communications.

60 Days — You're independently owning recurring creator and affiliate tasks, flagging issues early, and freeing up the Sr. Director's bandwidth for strategy.

90 Days — Tighter trackers, better follow-through, a healthier creator program, and early contributions to how we approach TikTok Shop strategy.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 1–3 years in influencer marketing, creator operations, affiliate marketing, or social commerce
  • Understand TikTok posting etc.
  • Hands-on experience with creator outreach, influencer campaigns, or affiliate program execution
  • Strong organizational skills — comfortable managing many moving pieces at once
  • Comfortable in spreadsheets, trackers, dashboards, and project management tools
  • Sharp attention to detail, strong written communication, and consistent follow-through
  • Ability to learn platforms quickly and move confidently in a fast, evolving environment

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Hands-on experience with TikTok Shop Seller Center or Affiliate Center
  • Background supporting creator or affiliate programs for beauty, wellness, or lifestyle brands
  • Familiarity with DTC, Shopify, Amazon, or marketplace selling
  • Agency or startup experience in a fast-moving, multi-client environment

WHO YOU ARE

  • Organized and detail-oriented — but adaptable when things shift
  • Energized by execution, and genuinely curious about strategy and what's driving results
  • Proactive: you notice when something's off and you say something
  • Someone who takes pride in the work itself, not just checking boxes
  • Excited to help build something real in social commerce from the ground up
