Job description

Be part of a team focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services by developing strategic accounts with the Fortune 2000. This is an opportunity to be a driver in AWS's further representation as a key technology platform provider.
As an Greenfield Account Executive you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, adoption, and market saturation in F2000 accounts, with a large emphasis on accounts with high growth potential. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive an engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. They should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets.
Key job responsibilities
Drive digital transformation through meaningful engagement with C-level executives, IT leaders, architects, developers, and various lines of businesses of your customers. In this role, you will represent the entire portfolio of AWS products and services across the strategic accounts you manage within the Enterprise customer market segment. With AWS, our customers benefit from the fastest pace of innovation, the broadest and deepest functionality, the most secure computing environment, and the most proven operational expertise.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in generating new opportunities with strong focus on pipeline tracking and deal execution through entire sales cycle
- Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects
- 10+ years of cloud sales experience to enterprise customers
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Experience engaging with and selling to executive level customers
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience across at least one industry vertical (manufacturing, energy, oil & gas, etc.)
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership, or experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
- Experience with AWS technologies

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
