Position Summary: Goodwill of the Olympics & Rainier Region has been in the business of changing lives for over 95 years. We are part of an amazing group of people that come together to make a profound impact on our community. Our mission is to provide free job training to people with barriers to employment. This important work can only happen thanks to our generous donors, our talented team members and our customers. Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrate cultural competence; specifically, awareness, attitude, knowledge, willingness and skills to work effectively with a culturally and demographically diverse population
  • Exceptional analytical, judgment, decision-making and communications skills
  • Superior coaching, leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build understanding and concensus

Cultural Competency: Ability to work in a diverse organization. Ability to work on a team and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.

Language Skills: Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear and type. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
