Job description

Seeking a compassionate and motivated Alumni Services Coordinator to join our team. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships within the local recovery community while providing ongoing support to former clients after discharge. The ideal candidate is passionate about recovery, community engagement, advocacy, and helping individuals maintain long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Facilitate recovery-based and 12-Step support groups.

  • Meet with clients prior to discharge, provide discharge packets, and complete discharge surveys.

  • Coordinate discharge planning and alumni engagement with clinical and operations teams.

  • Develop and strengthen community referral relationships in collaboration with outreach and business development staff.

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with courts, probation departments, attorneys, and community organizations.

  • Complete post-discharge follow-up contacts according to established timelines using the organization's CRM.

  • Provide ongoing support and resources to discharged clients.

  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate alumni meetings, events, and recovery activities.

  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong telephone communication.

  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
