This 466-bed trauma center provides a broad range of inpatient medical and surgical services to support diverse patient care needs. The facility maintains established protocols and modern resources to deliver specialized care across multiple service lines. The hospital is positioned to support a pediatric anesthesia locum tenens engagement on an ongoing basis.

Richmond offers outdoor activities along the James River, including kayaking and rafting on class III and IV rapids, as well as access to Belle Isle, a park island within the city. About the Clinician's Workday

The pediatric anesthesiologist will provide comprehensive anesthesia services during day shifts, with a standard schedule of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential extension to 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM based on facility needs. The clinician will supervise CRNAs while delivering anesthesia care for pediatric patients on-site. No weekend, night, 24-hour call, in-house call, or beeper call obligations are associated with this position. Board certification in Pediatric Anesthesiology is required for this role.
