Nature of Work:
An Altitude Sports Radio board operator is primarily responsible for execution of live radio broadcasts, both NBA and NHL games, live talk shows, and satellite game broadcasts.
Examples of work performed:
  • Runs live audio board for live NHL/NBA Games
  • Runs live audio board for live talk show broadcasts
  • Runs live audio board for satellite game broadcasts
  • Communicates with talent on break timing, live reads needed, and more
  • Records and edits highlights for later use
  • Tracks live read execution

Working Conditions amp; Physical Demands:

Qualifications:
  • Minimum
    • High School or GED
    • 2+ years’ experience in radio
    • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire
  • Preferred
    • Sports knowledge and passion
    • Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.

  • Ability to maintain positive attitude and demonstrate professionalism
  • Ability to complete work accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ability to work independently amp; in a group setting and demonstrate good judgment skills

Compensation:
  • Base hourly range $19.29 per hour
