Job Description: Sales Consultant – Field Sales
Department: Sales

Reports To: COO/VP of Respiratory Sales

Position Summary
The Sales Consultant is responsible for field-based sales of Protech Medical’s Durable Medical Equipment (DME) product portfolio. This role specializes in selling CPAP therapy equipment and Home Sleep Testing (HST) services while also promoting our other services that include Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and power mobility products such as specialized power wheelchairs. The role involves managing a territory, developing referral relationships, conducting product education, and driving revenue growth.

This is an experienced sales role requiring 2+ years of direct, field-based sales experience. Total compensation for On-Target Earnings (OTE): $85,000 to $125,000+, uncapped. Base salary: $45,000 to $60,000 based on experience. Commission: paid monthly on every setup, uncapped, strong earning potential for a mature territory. This is a commission forward sales role, built for people who want to be paid on what they produce. This role is built for people who want uncapped earning potential and thrive on performance-based pay.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following duties are considered essential to the successful performance of this position:

  • Develop and manage relationships with physicians, clinical staff, therapy teams, and healthcare facilities within an assigned territory.
  • Conduct field-based sales activities including prospecting, cold outreach, account development, and referral generation.
  • Assist healthcare providers and office staff with documentation, prescription processes, insurance requirements, and product selection.
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan aligned with company revenue goals.
  • Maintain accurate reporting of sales activities, account updates, forecasting, and territory metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely patient onboarding, equipment delivery, and service support.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
