Alternative Delivery Pursuit Manager

Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Charlotte, Nashville, Atlanta

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the pursuit effort for large-scale infrastructure projects, coordinating pre-construction, design, and estimating teams.
  • Develop and submit technical and price proposal documents.
  • Manage project contracts with owners, design, and construction partners.
  • Oversee project risks and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, developers, stakeholders, and design consultants to ensure project success.
  • Actively participate in meetings with owners, developers, partners, and subcontractors.
  • Manage project pursuit development, resource planning, and budgeting.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in alternative delivery projects with increasing responsibility.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects ($500M+).
  • Experience with Alternative Delivery methods such as DB, CMGC, Progressive DB, and P3.
  • Strong understanding of design development, construction estimating, and construction methods.
  • Experience with scheduling software (Microsoft Project, P-6).
  • Knowledge of HCSS and civil project field experience.
  • Ability to travel as needed for projects.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
  • Experience with state DOTs is highly valuable.

  • Minimal physical effort required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, or carrying objects that typically with less than 10 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files and small parts, etc.). Moderate dexterity โ€“ regular application of basic skills (calculator, keyboard, hand tools, eye/hand coordination.
  • Work has periodic stress due to frequent goals and deadlines, and responsibility associated with the role.
