Job description

Vital Care Infusion Services of Scottsdale is seeking an experienced Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) to join our fast-growing specialty infusion pharmacy team. If you are passionate about improving the lives of patients with complex, chronic diseases and have experience working with specialty medications, we'd love to hear from you!


Qualifications:

✔ Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician License (Required)
✔ Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential (Required)
✔ Minimum of 2 years of specialty pharmacy, home infusion, or infusion pharmacy experience (Preferred)
✔ Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills


Preferred Experience:

Candidates with experience managing specialty therapies for complex disease states are strongly encouraged to apply including:

  • Immunoglobulin (IVIG & SCIG) therapies
  • Alpha-1 proteinase inhibitor therapies
  • Rheumatology therapies
  • Gastroenterology biologics

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process specialty medication referrals and prescriptions
  • Schedule medication deliveries and coordinate infusion services
  • Maintain accurate pharmacy documentation
