Waterproofer Installer - Now Hiring
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Waterproofer Installer to join our Alpha team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in high-quality workmanship, safety, and consistency on construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Install waterproofing systems, including membranes (bituminous, liquid-applied, or sheet), sealants, coatings, and drainage systems.
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, priming, and ensuring proper substrate conditions before installation.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturer installation instructions.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Perform inspections and maintenance on installed waterproofing systems as needed.
  • Coordinate with other construction trades and project stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with waterproofing products and systems (e.g., Sika, Tremco, Henry, etc.).
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment (50 lbs or more).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
  • OSHA 10/30 certification is an asset.

Physical Demands:
This role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing to access work areas, often in confined spaces or at elevated heights. Candidates must be able to lift and carry materials and equipment up to 50 pounds or more.
