Job description

Material Handler Job DescriptionLocation: Cincinnati, OH, 45246Skills: Nightshift Material Handler

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Material Handler to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials with a forklift within our manufacturing facility. This position is from 6pm-6am, working 12 hour rotational shifts on a 2-2-3 (working every other weekend, 36hrs one week and 48 the next).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload gaylords from manufacturing equipment in congested areas of operation and warehouse
  • Move materials to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
  • Ensure that materials are properly labeled and stored in the correct location
  • Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate records of materials
  • Assist with the packaging and shipping of materials as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to the required standard
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or similar role
  • Valid forklift certification
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work night shifts
