Job Description
Allied Universal® is hiring a Screening Tester (Role-Player). The Screening Tester (Role-Player) is responsible for conducting quarterly recurrent screening procedure tests to evaluate the effectiveness of X-ray operators and other screening personnel. The Screening Tester role involves coordinating with various county officials and ensuring that tests are conducted discreetly to maintain the integrity of the screening process.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct quarterly tests of screening security guards at sites under the oversight of the Sheriff's Office (Court Security)
  • Coordinate testing procedures with the Allied Universal contract management team, County Facilities Management Contract Representative, Building Security Coordinator, District Maintenance Supervisor (for Courthouse sites), and the Sheriff's Office
  • Ensure that the test conductor is either unknown to the screening guards or someone routinely present at the screening stations to avoid pre-alerting the guards
  • Utilize testing personnel (tester role players) who are unknown to the screening security guards being tested
  • Must be able to travel to various courthouse sites and other designated locations within the county
  • Flexibility to conduct tests at different times to ensure comprehensive evaluation of screening personnel

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in security operations, particularly in a testing or evaluation capacity
  • Strong coordination and communication skills to work effectively with multiple county officials and departments
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion during testing procedures

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):
  • Familiarity with X-ray screening equipment and security protocols
