As a Security Officer Hospital Security in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a caring environment for patients, visitors, and staff while working as part of a team that acts with integrity. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare location protocols.
  • Assist with access control, visitor management, and direction-giving for patients and visitors while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and location personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
  • Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals as required in a hospital setting.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
