Security Officer - Gatehouse Position
Location: Tamarac, FL
Pay Rate: $15.00 per Hour
We are currently seeking an experienced and professional Security Officer to work at the gatehouse of a well-established 50+ residential community in Tamarac. This position is ideal for individuals who have prior gatehouse security experience and enjoy providing excellent customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Control access to the community by monitoring all incoming and outgoing traffic.
  • Verify resident and visitor information before granting entry.
  • Maintain accurate visitor logs and reports.
  • Operate gatehouse computer systems and access control software.
  • Answer resident and visitor inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Monitor security cameras and report any suspicious activity.
  • Enforce community rules and security procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, management, and emergency personnel when necessary.
Qualifications:
