Monthly SIOP Execution & Demand Planning (60%)

  • Monthly SIOP Leadership: Architect and lead the monthly SIOP cycle for the AAT platform. Prepare demand files, present forecast recommendations, facilitate demand review meetings, drive consensus, and manage follow-ups and escalations across both manufacturing and branch networks.
  • Demand Planning & Forecasting: Analyze demand patterns, internal CRM data, and external market data to create a demand forecast recommendation. Unify demand signals from field branches with centralized manufacturing expectations to create a single source of truth.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Product Managers and General Managers to develop and align on forecast changes within the portfolio (reviewing internal and external data and synthesizing expectations for new product launches and product life cycle adjustments).
  • Meeting Orchestration & Facilitation: Lead and facilitate monthly demand meetings for each product or customer subset in the portfolio, manages follow-ups, and escalations.
  • Monthly SIOP Partnership: Leads the monthly SIOP partnership meeting reviewing demand changes and facilitating escalation decisions with the platform's senior leadership (e.g. Sales VPs, General Managers, and GSC VP).
  • Financial Reconciliation: Partner with the finance team to incorporate price/cost adjustments and evaluate financial implications of demand changes - reconciling differences with the latest financial forecast and evaluating actions needed where gaps exist (e.g. financial forecast changes, sales actions, etc).

Supply Planning & Distribution Guidance (20%)

  • Demand Communication: Release forecast revisions to manufacturing plants and branch operations. Provide clear rationale for forecast changes, collaborate to verify accuracy, and discuss potential capacity or material challenges to meet forecasted demand.
  • Prioritization / Large Order Management: Partner with production planning teams, commercial leaders, and procurement to prioritize volumes and resolve conflicts in constrained scenarios.
  • Distribution Planning: Define and provide guidance on inventory planning across the AAT network. Establish branch-level and distribution center inventory policies (safety stock methodology, re-order points, min/max, replenishment strategies) to optimize service levels and working capital in the field. May supervise distribution/replenishment planning for the platform.

Systems, Data, & Report Management (10%)

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME): Serve as the primary SME for SIOP within the portfolio, answering questions for Plants, PMs, GMs, Finance, and Sales. Act as the Demand Planning Tool SME (working with IT on issues/support), Sales Cube SME (working with the GDA team), and CRM SME (adjusting forecasted customers).
  • Dashboard & Code Management: Design and manage business requirements for AAT SIOP Dashboards and forecast tool configuration (Forecast Analysis, Monthly Attainment, etc.). Setup and manage SIOP codes in ERP cross-reference tables.
  • Product & Distribution Management: Ensure product families are correctly identified as Forecasted/Not Forecasted. Help manage ProExpress/Distribution item-level forecasting for SIOP.

Continuous Improvement & Strategic Support (10%)

  • Process Ownership and Improvement: Own the AAT SIOP process definition and documentation (the Playbook). Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to mature the SIOP process over time.
  • Business Transitions: Manage ERP transitions to ensure they meet AAT's SIOP requirements. Implement and manage Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) transitions into the SIOP process where necessary.
  • New Product Introduction (NPI) and Lifecycle: Support all New Product requirements for SIOP, including meetings, setups, and forecast entering/verifying.
  • Executive Reporting: Own SIOP slides for the Monthly Operating Review (MOR).

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree - Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or other quantitative field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in SIOP/S&OP, supply chain management, sales or demand planning.
  • Experience working with ERP & MRP systems.
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with experience working with and influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex data sets and dashboards.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to distill complex concepts into actionable insights
  • 25% domestic travel required

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience with forecasting tools or libraries and/or enterprise planning platforms is a plus.
  • Experience communicating complex models to cross functional audiences.
