EMR system: TechCare Reason for Coverage: Transition/Recruitment FTE or Shifts per month needed: 1.0 FTE Inpatient, Outpatient or both: Inpatient Target start date and Length of need: June 2026 - December 2026 Locums Shift Schedule (ex: 8a-5p or 7p-7a, etc) : Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm; One Sunday rotation every 6 weeks - will be for less than 8 hours

Shift Description: Weekday coverage of patients in acute mental health units at Allegheny County Jail. Sunday rounding on acute male & female patients and assessing any critical patients (numbers vary) Call Schedule and Call Responsibilities: None Type of patients / cases / procedures required: adults with acute mental health symptoms Current Incarceration Population: 1,800 patients in the entire jail Patient Encounters per shift: Average of 30 patients in the unit - not all patients need to be seen daily; based on acuity of needs Daytime Support: nursing, APP s and psychiatrists Certifications required (Board Certification/Truly Board Eligible or life support, etc.): Board eligible, BLS required, ACLS preferred

Will you accept licensure candidates (IMLC or standard process): Yes Minimum candidate commitment to consider: Full-time Is corrections experience required? No

Hospital Privileging: 60 days from application to network committee meeting - Application is required to be completed and returned with all documentation within 10 days of receipt. Need clean file (no malpractice/background) to rush credentialing.
