JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Penn State Behrend, a member of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference, is accepting applications for a Part Time Assistant Coach in the sport of Men's Soccer.

The Assistant Coach is responsible for:

  • Practice preparation

  • Player development

  • Game day coaching and recruiting

  • Supervising both player personnel under the head coach

Additionally, the Assistant Coach must be well versed in the sport of soccer with previous coaching experience preferred. Hours are primarily in-season with a requirement for recruiting in the off-season.

This position requires strict adherence to AMCC and NCAA Division III rules. All applications, cover letters and resumes must be submitted electronically. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position if filled.

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
