About the Role

The Leaves Coordinator role focuses on maintaining accuracy and consistency in leave administration by reconciling system data and collaborating with internal and external partners. It involves identifying and resolving discrepancies that could impact employee pay or case outcomes, while also documenting issues and performing root cause and trend analysis. Overall, the role supports smooth operations by driving issue resolution, reducing risk, and improving processes.

Responsibilities

• Managing reconciliation between the Leave Management System and client HRIS applications, including identifying cases with potential pay impacts and collaborating with HRIS vendors and client contacts to resolve discrepancies.
• Overseeing the Operational Escalation Log by documenting events and conducting root cause and trend analyses in coordination with the MLOA Leadership team.
• Preparing and submitting LTD referrals by packaging required documentation for the LTD vendor.
• Initiating and coordinating Workers’ Compensation processes, serving as the primary point of contact between Leaves, the WC vendor, and the client Health Center.
• Supporting state leave administration by serving as the primary backup for the State Administrative Coordinator.
• Assisting the Case Management team with claim actions and providing coverage for the group mailbox as needed.

Requirements

• Hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in the leave of absence industry.
• Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Demonstrate advanced Excel skills, with the aptitude to learn and apply additional analytical tools.
• Be able to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with a track record of shared success.
• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Be able to apply detailed-oriented thinking alongside strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Salary Pay Range

Minimum : 60,000.00 USD

Maximum : 85,000.00 USD
