Job description

Overview

At Fastest Labs, we perform pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing for small to large businesses and individuals. Your role with our team will be a dual role with administrative duties such as greeting customers, sending out results via email, data entry and handling phone calls as well as providing clinical drug, DNA and alcohol testing services. This position requires a high level of attention to details, customer service and an extremely positive attitude. WE WILL TRAIN AND CERTIFY YOU FOR DRUG AND ALCOHOL TESTING. Primary Duties

  • Perform certified urine, alcohol, saliva, fingernail, hair follicle and DNA specimen collections.
  • Test urine and saliva specimens utilizing instant or rapid screening devices.
  • For non-rapid tests, perform specimen collections following proper chain of custody collection procedures, properly package specimen, ship package with appropriate courier and properly finish necessary paperwork.
  • If requested, conduct testing at customer sites. These mobile assignments may occasionally fall outside of standard shift hours and will be scheduled/compensated in accordance with company part-time policies.
  • Collect payment from donor (when applicable).
  • Generate/update invoices daily for later processing for clients.
  • Report urine, hair, alcohol, fingernail, hair follicle and DNA test results to the client using the appropriate reporting protocol agreed upon by the client.
  • Handle potential customer inquiries and follow telephone script to persuade callers to schedule a sales appointment or come into the Fastest Labs collection facility for testing.
  • Daily data entry in accounting software, as well as other pertinent tasks associated with bookkeeping.

Secondary Duties

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fresh appearance of the entire office, reception area and testing areas throughout the assigned shift.
  • Always contribute to a positive work climate and to the overall team effort of the company.
  • Assist with the maintenance and preparation of testing products, forms and equipment during downtimes.
  • Monitor and track supplies and inventory during shifts to assist the manager with timely reordering.
  • Perform all office functions and other reasonable, related duties as assigned or requested by management.
  • Participate in routine facility upkeep on a rotating shift basis (e.g.- vacuuming the office, cleaning restrooms, wipe down countertops and tables.

Essential Qualifications

  • Speaking and hearing English clearly on a telephone.
  • Persuading callers to schedule a collection.
  • Reading English on an average adult level.
  • Writing English clearly.
  • Compiling results of telephone calls.
  • Availability: Ability to work a flexible, part-time schedule which may include specific morning, afternoon, or weekend shifts as agreed upon at hire.

Special Requirements

  • Ability to use a personal computer and navigate company software systems.
  • Ability to withstand regular physical contact with urine, hair, saliva, fingernail dust, and cleaning solutions.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, and carry items.
  • Ability to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods during the shift.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in Spanish.
  • Certified Phlebotomist.
  • Ability to respond to pre-scheduled onsite testing after hours and on weekends (subject to shift differentials or on-call compensation policies).
