Here's the Scoop - Summary

The Senior Supply Chain Finance Manager plays a key role in developing Finance processes, including identifying and advancing cross-functional solutions, and leading financial support for Supply Chain & Operations leadership.

This role will manage and oversee large-scale, complex projects focusing on developing robust business solutions for Procurement, Operations, & Finance organizations.

This role is both analytical and tactical in nature, and will be required to conduct primary and secondary analysis and research.

The Senior Supply Chain Finance Manager reports to the VP of Finance and works out of our Corporate office in Edmonton (AB), Boulder (CO), Auburn (KY) or Nashville (TN) and works a hybrid schedule with 3 days in-person.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead supply chain reporting and analytics for the company.
  • Business partner with Purchasing team, to support the process for input cost planning, reconciliation, and reporting that supports all key business partners.
  • Collaborate with Supply chain team, driving insights into inventory management through development of reports and measuring vs. key targets.
  • Support Engineering in guiding the capital budgeting and planning, cost control and review.
  • Act as a facilitator in planning and tracking execution against Value Creation (cost savings) projects across the value chain.
  • Support development of the annual plan, inclusive of product costings and annual planning process for cost of goods.
  • Assist with the preparation of ad hoc reports, financial reviews and special projects as directed by the leadership team.
  • Collaborate with accounting in period close process, provide timely and accurate analysis of financial results and variances vs forecasts / budget.
  • Enable sustainability initiatives through proper budgeting, accounting recognition and rigor in reporting.
  • Act as key contributor to performance review across supply and leadership review meetings (S&OP+ steps).
  • Provide advice, training and/or guidance to staff in the section when necessary.
  • Other responsibilities, as assigned.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in business, MBA/CPA preferred.
  • 8-10+ years of related experience ideally in a Consumer Products environment.
  • Strong analytical skills through experience working on complex transactions.
  • Strong knowledge of financial metrics.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Proven ability to build relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Strong communication skills, demonstrated in written and verbal report writing.
  • Self-starter, previous experience of working in a high performing environment.
  • Responsive, a strong ability in anticipating needs and delivering on commitments.
  • Proven ability to identify, evaluate, develop new ideas and deliver results.
  • Strong report writing skills.
  • Detail oriented and accurate.
  • Highly proficient in Excel.
  • Working extended days and weekends as necessary.
