BAS Controls Technician - Tier 1 - Large Energy & Automation Solutions Company - Las Vegas, NV
LOCATION:
  • Las Vegas, NV
ABOUT The COMPANY:
  • Tier 1 - Large Energy & Automation Solutions Company
  • Solutions: Commercial Buildings, Data Centers, Infrastructure, Software Engineering, etc.
POSITION:
  • BAS Controls Technician (Remote/Office and some Field Commissioning)
    • Hiring both Sr. Level and Mid-Level Candidates
    • All work is done on a laptop
LEVEL of Hire:
  • Hiring both Sr. Level Candidate (3-10+) and Mid-Level Candidates (2-3 years)
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Interest/Experience in BAS Programming (Script/Line or Block/Graphical)
PLUS (not required) - integration experience with Tridium Niagara software
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work closely with a Project Manager and Engineering Team
  • Create BAS Applications following S.O.P.s and drawings/schematics
  • Sequence Development/Rewriting
  • Database development/uploading
  • 3rd-Party Integration: BACnet, Modbus, LON, etc
  • Expertise in either Script of Function Block programming-both are utilized
  • Configuration of control systems and integration into various control product lines
  • Remotely VPN into the customer-site and remote maintenance
  • Integrate systems of various controlled points to local & national software
  • Creating alarms and trends
  • Field - being involved in Commissioning and Close-Out
  • Field - assist on Equipment Start-Up
  • Sometimes guiding Control Technicians
