Industrial Maintenance Technician

Akron, OH

Rogers Industrial Inc. is currently seeking full-time Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their team in Akron, Ohio. At Rogers Industrial Products Inc., we have been at the forefront of the tire curing industry since 1951. Over the years, our expertise has expanded beyond control manufacturing to include new and rebuilt tire curing presses as well as value added parts and services for existing machinery.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Potential for overtime
  • Full-time
  • 1st shift with potential for 2nd shift
  • 1st shift: 6AM – 2:30PM
  • 2nd shift: 2:30PM – 11PM

The right candidate will have:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
  • Perform simple arithmetic
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift 25-50 pounds
  • Professional and Organized

Our Industrial Maintenance Technician will:

  • Responsible for inspecting and performing repairs and preventative maintenance under the direction of the maintenance and uptime manager
  • Perform routine inspections of machinery and related equipment
  • Conduct preventative maintenance according to schedule and record in maintenance log
  • Repair machinery and equipment as necessary and/or as directed by the Maintenance and Uptime Manager
  • Complete mold changes and cleanings as scheduled/directed/needed
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and free of contaminants
  • Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations
