Job Title: Cost Accountant – Manufacturing (Direct Hire Opportunities)
Location: Akron & Solon, OH area
Schedule: Full-Time Opportunities
Pay: $65,000–$95,000+ (based on experience)

We are actively seeking experienced Cost Accountants for multiple direct hire opportunities.

If you have a strong background in cost accounting and enjoy working closely with operations to drive profitability, we want to connect with you.
Responsibilities

  • Maintain and analyze standard costing systems
  • Track and evaluate material, labor, and overhead costs
  • Perform variance analysis and identify cost drivers
  • Support month-end close (journal entries, reconciliations)
  • Monitor and reconcile inventory (raw materials, WIP, finished goods)
  • Partner with plant leadership to improve cost efficiency
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2+ years of cost accounting or manufacturing accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory, and variance analysis
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical mindset
