The Warehouse Technicianis responsible forthe shipment, receipt, and distribution of materials ina timelyandaccuratemanner. You willassistwith shipping and receiving, unload trucks, check inmaterialsand store them in theappropriate location. Youalso willfileappropriate documentationand process sales orders and invoicesin accordance withcompanyprocess.

Business area Mining isa global leading supplier of equipment and tools, parts, service, digital solutions and sustainability-driving technologies for the mining and construction industries. Applicationsinclude rock drilling, rock cutting, loading and hauling, tunneling and quarrying.

This Warehouse Operator will be an onsite role in Fairbanks, AK

Key Responsibilities:

• Update andmaintainwarehouse location system

• Assistin cycle counting and physical inventory

• Prepare export documentation asrequired

• Maintain shipping supplies inventory

• Arrange shipping/transport

• Accept/reject vendor inventory transactions

• Build sound relationships with the workshop team and internal and external customers to ensure smooth operations

• Participatein customer on-call service asrequired

• Expedite urgent orders to ensure customer receives when needed

• Identifyand report any unsafe work habits, workplace incidents and / or near misses

• Comply withSMRT safety policies and applicable government, customer, or industry regulations or requirements

• Accounts for all materials and supplies in thestoresfacilities; audits goods received into warehouse.

• Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reportingin accordance withestablished procedures.

• Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.

• Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, spaceutilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.

• Youcanoperatea forklift, and be capable of lifting 50 lbs.

• Performs other relevant duties as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor

Minimum Qualifications:

• Youpossessa high school diploma or equivalentyears of experience in a warehouse environment
• 6months related warehouse experience
• Possesses a commitment to being a team player, and assumes responsibility for the team work / operational efficiency of the facility

Physical Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly

Preferred qualifications:

• Ability to successfully operate forklift
• Proficient computer skills (receiving orders / locating parts)
• Functions effectively without assistance or direction from others (Independent worker)

Location: Fairbanks, AK

Hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Compensation Range: $25 to $32/hour

Work authorization

Must have the legal right to work in the United States on anindefinite basis without employer sponsorship.
