Syntricate Technologies is seeking a WebMethods Platform Migration Consultant to assist with the administration and migration of WebMethods products. The role involves hands-on experience with WebMethods Administration, upgrades, and troubleshooting, as well as supporting middleware development teams.
Responsibilities:
• Hands on Experience in SoftwareAG WebMethods Administration (Integration Server, Universal messaging, Trading Networks) - Must
• WebMethods Upgrade with Platform Migration experience - Must
• Splunk Knowledge – Must
• Very Good working knowledge of Software AG WebMethods Administration with various SAG Components.
• Administration, Installation and Upgrade or migration of WebMethods products such as Integration Server, Trading Networks, Universal Messaging, Broker, Command Central, Deployer and My WebMethod Servers in a large environment.
• Experienced in the Platform ( AIX to Linux ) Migration of the WebMethods
• Perform code and configuration deployments using WebMethods Deployer.
• Strong Administration experience on WebMethods products 10x versions.
• Experience in WebMethods 10.x upgrade. And upgrade analysis and planning & execution of the upgrade
• Management of SSL Certificates, and knowledge of certificate installations for Enterprise and Partner certificates configurations.
• Support of JMS, including distributed queues, SAP Adapters and JDBC Adapters.
• Monitoring the health of WebMethods servers using third party tools – Splunk, Data dog.
• Provide problem analysis and troubleshooting of WebMethods issues and related system components. Including Log Analysis and Error resolution, Thread dump analysis, etc.
• Provide performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Establishing and or troubleshooting connectivity using HTTP (s), SFTP (both at OS level / application level) & AS2.
• Able to differentiate issues related to front or backend applications, Operating Systems, Database, Network and firewall.
• Assist and support middleware development team on the operation issues, in projects and enhancement tasks.
• Knowledge on IBM AIX, Oracle, Citrix, Managed file transfer systems CrushFTP.
