Job description

Function

As part of our engineering team, you will contribute to the design and development of automotive components, working closely with international partners and customers.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting product design and development activities from concept to validation
  • Creating and modifying designs using CATIA V5 (mandatory)
  • Participating in feasibility studies and engineering evaluations
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners (OEMs / Tier-1)
  • Contributing to cost optimization (VA/VE studies)
  • Supporting customer exchanges and ensuring alignment on technical specifications
  • Providing technical input throughout the product development lifecycle
Profile
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in product design (automotive is a strong plus)
  • Strong proficiency in CATIA V5 (mandatory)
  • Knowledge of Automotive Body Components such as door frame, door module, frame moulding, active grill shutter, power back door, sunshade
  • Exposure to OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and team spirit
  • Fluency in English (Japanese is a plus)
