Low Voltage Technician – Sky Harbor Airport

Location: Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport – Phoenix, AZ
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Overnight

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician for a long-term contract assignment at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. This position is ideal for a dependable technician with 1–3 years of low-voltage experience who is comfortable working overnight shifts in an active commercial environment.

The selected technician must be able to meet airport security requirements and successfully complete the required airport badging process prior to starting work.

Schedule
  • Sunday night / Monday morning: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
  • Tuesday–Thursday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  • Overnight availability is required.
Responsibilities
  • Install, route, terminate, and support low-voltage cabling and related systems.
  • Assist with installation and maintenance of structured cabling and other low-voltage infrastructure.
  • Pull, label, organize, and secure cable according to project requirements.
  • Perform terminations and basic testing/troubleshooting as required.
  • Read and follow project plans, work instructions, and direction from site leadership.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
  • Follow all airport, job-site, and contractor safety and security procedures.
  • Properly use required tools and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Coordinate effectively with the foreman and other technicians to complete work on schedule.
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of low-voltage experience required.
  • Experience working in commercial environments preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to work the required overnight schedule.
  • Comfortable working in an active airport environment.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a field team.
  • Must successfully complete all required Sky Harbor Airport badging/security requirements before beginning work.
