  • The Software domain refers to the area within Information Technology that focuses on the development, deployment, management, and maintenance of software applications that support business processes and user needs. This includes development, application lifecycle management, requirement analysis, QA, security & compliance, and maintaining the applications and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as Senior Developer for Loyalty Member benefit products
  • Collaborates with leaders, business analysts, project managers, IT architects, technical leads and other developers, along with internal customers, to understand requirements and develop a strategy appropriate to the business requirements for quarterly Roadmap
  • Drives consensus on technical approach, sets timelines, and leads cross-functional application teams from design through delivery
  • Maintains and enhances existing enterprise services, applications, and platforms using domain driven design and test-driven development
  • Troubleshoots and debugs complex issues; identifies and implements solutions
  • Researches and implements new technologies to enhance current processes, security, and performance
  • Supports the development of coding standards and adheres to best practices and security guidelines
  • Works closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise growth needs

Minimum Qualifications Education & Prior Job Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
  • 5+ years of Airline Industry experience

Preferred Qualifications Education and Prior Job Experience:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
  • 5+ years of IT experience required.
  • 5-7 years of experience working on Agile Development teams.
  • 1-3 years of experience working with Batch Scheduling automation engine and Siebel EAI

Skills:

  • Batch Scheduling: IBM Tivoli Workload Schedule automation engine and DataStage ETL Tool
  • Siebel EAI with rest API/MQ/JMS, Siebel Open UI, Siebel Architecture/Data Model. Siebel Loyalty, PL/SQL
  • Source Control: GitHub, Azure DevOps
  • Data management: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
  • Integration/APIs Technologies: REST, GraphQL, Kafka
