Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced Sprayer / Painter to join our team in Los Angeles. This role focuses on high-quality surface preparation and application of coatings using airless spray equipment. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience, works with precision, and understands professional spray techniques and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and maintain airless spray equipment (Graco or equivalent)
  • Select correct spray tips, hoses, filters, and equipment based on project needs
  • Prepare surfaces through sanding, cleaning, masking, and priming
  • Mix and thin paints/coatings to proper specifications
  • Apply coatings evenly while controlling overspray and ensuring proper coverage
  • Perform back-rolling and touch-ups when needed
  • Inspect finished work for quality and consistency
  • Clean and maintain all spray equipment after use
  • Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in spray painting or industrial painting
  • Hands-on experience with airless spray systems (Graco or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of spray application techniques, tip selection, and material mixing
  • Experience with surface preparation (sanding, masking, priming, cleaning)
  • Strong understanding of overspray control and coating consistency
  • Ability to maintain and troubleshoot spray equipment
  • OSHA 10 Certification (a plus)
  • Respirator fit test completed or ability to complete one
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks and climb ladder up to 10 feet height, utilize scaffolds
