Job description

The Aircrew Training Coordinator will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and communication of all aircrew training. This role requires working closely with pilots, record specialists, flight department managers, finance personnel, training vendors, and all departments in the OCC.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Scheduling of all aircrew initial and recurrent training events with the training providers.
  • Oversees the training slot reservations, identifying training needs and assignment of current slots for scheduled training events.
  • Assists in scheduling all on-line training events including, but not limited to IOE, UOE, Transition, Recurrent, and 299 check rides.
  • Coordinates incentive days, crewmember scheduling shifts and training assignments with Crew Planning.
  • Ensures the training spreadsheet is kept up to date for logistics and billing needs.
  • Assists with reconciling training invoices to training events and approves invoices for accounts payable.
  • Communicates crewmember training activities to the crewmembers, training provider and training department management.
  • Delivers monthly documentation to the training provider, FAA when requested, crewmembers and ground instructors to ensure all facets of the training events are scheduled and documented.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university preferred; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Part 135 aviation knowledge and experience is a plus.
  • Prior scheduling experience is a plus.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Must possess the legal ability to work in the United States
  • Familiarity with core job competencies including, but not limited to, FARs, SOPs, and other resource documents.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) skills with the ability to self-motivate, handle multiple tasks, meet established targets.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Must be results oriented and able to obtain a high level of familiarity quickly.
  • Strong personal and work ethics along with a high level of integrity
  • Must have the ability to work quickly, calmly, and under pressure.
