We are looking for experienced Sheetmetal Mechanic who are seeking their next opportunity in a complex and ever-changing work environment! Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate and assemble aircraft sheet metal and composite structural components.
  • Use precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards.
  • Perform inspections and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Read and work from engineering drawings and production specifications.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of heavy aviation structures sheet metal mechanic experience.
  • Demonstrate skill level by successfully passing plate test.
  • Ability to pass skills assessments - verbal, virtual and hands on.
  • Experienced structural assembly, preferably on Boeing and Gulfstream products.
  • Ability to follow written, electronic and verbal instructions and work with minimal supervision.
  • Read and understand blueprints.
  • Ability to wear a respirator and other safety gear.
  • Able to use a variety of fabrication hand tools and precision measuring instruments to make standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work.
  • Able to work from blueprints, sketches, work instructions.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Available to work 1st and/or 2nd shift after training and as required.
  • Available to work overtime as required, including evenings and weekends.
