Job description

Join our client's team as an Aircraft Mechanic in Kansas City, a leading aircraft component service operation. Our client's team specializes in a wide range of aircraft components and operates across multiple sites, offering an exciting opportunity for skilled individuals to work on challenging projects in a dynamic environment. As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft by servicing, repairing, and overhauling components with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize intermediate knowledge to perform routine maintenance work on specialized aircraft components.
  • Develop repair schemes and communicate effectively with maintenance personnel.
  • Read and interpret manufacturer manuals and specifications to determine repair methods.
  • Conduct operational tests and maintain a clean work area.
  • Perform specific tasks based on assigned area such as flight control, systems, sheet metal/structures, or airframe cabin interiors.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and report any incidents promptly.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Airframe and/or Power plant License preferred.
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program in a related field or two years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience.

  • Must meet all regulatory requirements per FAR 65.
