POSITION SUMMARY:

The Managed Partners Maintenance Planner is responsible for coordinating maintenance planning, financial oversight, and operational execution for managed partner aircraft. This role ensures accurate billing, effective maintenance scheduling, and development of forward-looking maintenance plans to support aircraft availability and owner expectations.

This position operates at the intersection of operations, finance, and customer coordination, requiring strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and coordinate scheduled maintenance events and aircraft modifications, aligning timing with owners and vendor availability
  • Define maintenance work scope, obtain vendor quotes, and support approval and scheduling of events
  • Track maintenance progress, communicate updates, and lead recurring coordination meetings with owner groups
  • Develop forward-looking maintenance plans based on scheduled requirements and projected utilization
  • Identify upcoming maintenance events, owner-requested modifications, and refurbishment opportunities
  • Define maintenance packages including scope, downtime, and expected costs
  • Build annual maintenance projections (AOP), including detailed cost breakdowns for key accounts and high-level summaries for general accounts
  • Support presentation and alignment of AOP outputs with internal stakeholders and aircraft owners
  • Review and validate vendor invoices against approved work scope and resolve discrepancies as needed
  • Coordinate with accounting to ensure accurate owner billing and proper application of costs
  • Prepare and review monthly cost summaries and communicate key cost drivers to stakeholders
  • Perform additional duties as assigned; position primarily supports Maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • 2+ years of experience in aviation maintenance planning, operations, or related field
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen
  • Experience working with maintenance schedules or operational planning
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred:

  • Associates degree in Aviation, Business, Finance, or related field
  • Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license
  • Experience supporting business aviation or managed aircraft programs
  • Familiarity with maintenance tracking systems and vendor/MRO coordination
