Job Description
The Leasing Specialist 5 supports the Capital Equipment Group (CEG) within Equipment Finance, a large-ticket business focused on complex, high-value equipment finance transactions. This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and processing lease documentation that supports customer-direct financing transactions ranging from six-figure to multi-million-dollar deals.
The position is highly process-driven, detail-oriented, and collaborative, requiring close partnership with leasing associates, internal stakeholders, external vendors, and management to ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and maintain transaction files received from leasing associates to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Prepare and populate standardized lease and financing document templates using transaction-specific details, including pricing, structure, and customer information
  • Review legal and organizational documents (e.g., LLC operating agreements) for accuracy and alignment with transaction requirements
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors to order lien searches, file UCCs, and obtain certificates of good standing and articles of organization
  • Convert finalized documentation into PDF format and distribute to leasing associates for execution
  • Create and manage shipping labels and documentation delivery as needed
  • Support quality control through consistent adherence to established processes and manager review standards
  • Manage multiple transactions simultaneously while meeting accuracy, compliance, and turnaround expectations

  • Supports Capital Equipment Group (CEG), a large-ticket equipment finance business
  • Transactions typically involve complex deal structures and a wide range of asset types, such as vehicle fleets, technology equipment, aircraft, marine equipment, rail, forklifts, and other high-value equipment
  • Work is performed in a direct-to-customer financing model
  • Although processes are standardized, transactions vary significantly, providing ongoing exposure to different deal structures and terms

Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six to eight years of experience in leasing or other financial operations activities

Preferred Experience & Skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a steady volume of work
  • Knowledge of leasing and lending products, terminology, policies, procedures, legal documents, systems, and funding requirements
  • Understanding of credit policies, approval processes, and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Strong critical thinking skills related to lease and loan documentation construction
  • Ability to quickly learn and master multiple software applications; strong PC skills
  • Proven commitment to quality customer service and ability to work well with customers and internal partners
  • Strong general office and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Adobe experience is preferred

Pay Range: $27.50 - $36.68
