Job description

We are seeking experienced VIP Interior Technicians to support full aircraft refurbishment projects in a fast-paced MRO environment. This position is ideal for individuals with a versatile interior background who can perform a combination of aircraft interior removals and installations (R&R), cabinet refinishing, upholstery, carpet installation, and interior refurbishment work. Candidates with experience in R&R and cabinet finishing or R&R and upholstery/carpet installation are encouraged to apply. Individuals with experience across all interior disciplines will be considered for premium compensation opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform removal and installation (R&R) of aircraft interior components including seats, sidewalls, headliners, galleys, monuments, cabinetry, and miscellaneous interior furnishings. Remove, repair, replace, and install aircraft carpeting and upholstery materials. Complete cabinet refinishing, touch-up, veneer repair, sanding, staining, painting, and final finishing work. Assist with full aircraft refurbishment and modification projects. Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and maintenance documentation. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company quality standards. Inspect completed work to verify fit, finish, functionality, and overall appearance. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Properly document maintenance and refurbishment activities. Work collaboratively with other maintenance departments to meet project schedules and delivery commitments.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications Minimum 5 years of previous aircraft interior experience in two or more of the following: Interior removals and installations (R&R) Cabinet finishing and refinishing Upholstery installation and repair Aircraft carpet installation Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment commonly utilized in aircraft interiors. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work overtime and weekends as required to support project schedules. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting business jet refurbishment projects. Experience performing both cabinet finishing and upholstery/carpet work. Knowledge of FAA regulations and aircraft interior standards. Multi-skilled interior technicians with experience across R&R, cabinet finishing, upholstery, and carpet installation are highly desired.
