Job description

Systems Engineer, Aircraft Integration Office (AIO) - Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (Onsite).

We are seeking Systems Engineers for the Aircraft Integration Office (AIO). This role involves applying an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to support an engine replacement program for a 1950s-era aircraft, adapting modern engine technology. These engineers function as the "firefighters" of the organization, reporting to the Chief Engineer to develop plans and solve complex problems related to integrating a new engine and its associated systems, including bleed air, hydraulic power, electrical power, and cockpit controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply systems engineering processes to plan, design, develop, and verify a lifecycle-balanced system of systems.
  • Evaluate customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements.
  • Integrate technical parameters and ensure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.
  • Perform analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, and other quality factors.
  • Develop plans to solve problems identified by the Chief Engineer.
  • Provide organization to issues and develop clear, actionable task plans.
  • Resolve cross‑functional technical issues through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop, organize, implement, and monitor requirements management processes and tools.
Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to provide organization to complex issues.
  • Experience in planning tasks and developing comprehensive plans.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering processes.
  • Generalist knowledge of aircraft systems.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate plans and solutions to team members.
Work Details
  • Work Schedule: Full Time, 9x80 schedule (7:00 AM to 4:30 PM).
  • Overtime: Expected.
  • Travel: Domestic travel is required.
  • Export Compliance: This position requires a U.S. Person for purposes of Export Compliance.
