JOB TITLE: A&P Mechanics - (5+ Years Experience)
LOCATION: Birmingham, AL
PAY RATE: $36-39/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

  • Are you a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual) as defined under ITAR regulations?

  • Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

Summary: 

  • Perform aircraft maintenance, repairs, modifications, and component replacements in assigned areas.

  • Repair, modify, replace, or otherwise perform specialized aircraft maintenance work.

  • Read and interpret:

    • Manufacturer maintenance manuals

    • Airline maintenance manuals

    • Service bulletins

    • Engineering drawings and specifications

  • Determine repair feasibility and appropriate maintenance methods.

  • Complete job assignments in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Communicate effectively with maintenance personnel and leadership regarding work progress and challenges.

  • Maintain quality and safety standards throughout maintenance operations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience, including a mix of:

    • Commercial aircraft

    • Military aircraft

    • Helicopters

    • Regional aircraft

  • A&P License required.

  • Must provide own tools.

  • Gen Fam experience required.

  • Intermediate knowledge of aircraft systems and assigned work areas.

  • Ability to travel as needed.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
