JOB TITLE: Aircraft Cabinet Maker II 
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $25.65/hour

Summary: 

  • Fabricates and assembles aircraft furniture and wood-surfaced subassemblies using blueprints, engineering drawings, and aircraft specifications.

  • The role involves working under general supervision to ensure high-quality craftsmanship, safety, and productivity while assisting with process improvements.

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Basic knowledge of cabinetmaking processes, tools, and materials.

  • 2+ years of cabinetmaking experience.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.

  • Proficient in using stationary and hand-held power tools.

  • Physically able to climb ladders, work in restricted areas, lift up to 40 pounds, and work any shift.

  • Computer literacy and experience with material tracking systems.

  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Familiarity with inspection and process specifications.

  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement techniques.
