PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to hire an experienced Cabinet Maker with a passion for precision craftsmanship and quality. In this role, you'll fabricate high-end cabinetry and wood-surfaced aircraft interior components that meet exact engineering specifications and the highest standards of excellence.

  • Fabricate complex aircraft cabinetry and wood-surfaced subassemblies using stationary and hand-held woodworking tools.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, design specifications, and material requirements to produce high-quality finished products.
  • Ensure all work meets customer-approved designs, quality standards, and engineering requirements.
  • Operate a variety of woodworking equipment and apply advanced cabinetmaking techniques.
  • Use the material tracking system to request parts, track work, and complete documentation.
  • Help identify and implement process improvements that enhance safety, quality, and production efficiency using Lean Six Sigma principles.
  • Maintain a safe, organized work environment while protecting aircraft interiors throughout the fabrication process.
  • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to less experienced technicians and assume Lead responsibilities when needed.
  • Coordinate projects with team members and other departments to ensure work is completed on schedule.
  • Adapt to changing production priorities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 4+ years of cabinetmaking experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of cabinetmaking processes, woodworking techniques, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift up to 40 pounds, and work any shift as needed.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Experience mentoring team members or leading projects.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement practices.
