Job description

We are looking for a driven, detail-obsessed Lead Aircraft Cleaner to join our growing ground operations team at Akron-Canton Regional Airport. This is not your average cleaning role. As an Aircraft Appearance Specialist, you are an integral part of the aviation maintenance organization โ€” responsible for the cleaning, organizing, and presentation of aircraft interiors and exteriors to an uncompromising standard. You will be the reason passengers step onto a spotless aircraft. You will be the reason operators trust us with their fleet. If that matters to you, keep reading.

What Youโ€™ll Do

As a Lead Aircraft Appearance Specialist, you will serve as a key contributor to our ground operations team, upholding the cleanliness and presentation of every aircraft entrusted to our care. Your responsibilities will include:

โ€ขย ย  ย Executing RON (Remain Overnight) cabin reset operations in accordance with airline service standards, including passenger trash removal, full cabin disinfection, vacuuming, and material reset

ย ย  ย โ€ขย ย  ย Cleaning and organizing aircraft interiors to a consistent, professional standard โ€” encompassing seating, galley compartments, lavatory modules, overhead storage, tray tables, and all passenger-facing surfaces

ย ย  ย โ€ขย ย  ย Coordinating with FBO ground personnel and airline operations teams to ensure all assignments are completed within designated aircraft turnaround windows

ย ย  ย โ€ขย ย  ย Conducting cabin inspections to identify damage, discrepancies, or maintenance concerns, and escalating findings through the appropriate channels

ย ย  ย โ€ขย ย  ย Modeling professional conduct and work standards in a lead capacity, ensuring shift objectives are met with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail

What Weโ€™re Looking For

ย ย  ย โ€ขย ย  ย A strong work ethic and genuine pride in the quality of your work
ย ย  ย โ€ขย ย  ย Prior experience in aircraft cleaning, commercial cleaning, hospitality, or janitorial services โ€” aviation background strongly preferred
ย ย  ย โ€ขย ย  ย The ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
ย ย  ย โ€ขย ย  ย Physical stamina to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 30 lbs throughout a shift
ย ย  ย โ€ขย ย  ย Reliable transportation and consistent availability for overnight and early morning shifts
ย ย  ย โ€ขย ย  ย Eligibility to obtain a SIDA badge (TSA background check required)
ย ย  ย โ€ขย ย  ย Authorization to work in the United States
