Description:

Oneida Professional Services (OPS) is actively seeking highly motivated, full-time Instructional Management & Learning Support (IMLS) Professionals in support of the United States Air Force Air University (AU), Air Force Global College (AFGC) at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama.


*This position is contingent on the award of a federal contract.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide instructional management, faculty support, and learning services supporting Air Force Global College distance learning programs. 
  • Recruit, credential, train, assess, schedule, and manage contractor faculty supporting Professional Military Education (PME) programs. 
  • Verify faculty credentials and maintain qualification records in accordance with institutional accreditation standards and Air Force requirements. 
  • Support delivery of online and hybrid graduate- and undergraduate-level instruction across multiple military education disciplines. 
  • Facilitate courses in Strategy & Security Studies, Airpower Studies, Leadership & Profession of Arms Studies, Warfare Studies, Joint Operations Studies, Research/Graduate Skills, and Faculty Development. 
  • Conduct faculty evaluations, observation activities, continuing education coordination, and quality assurance reviews. 
  • Deliver student-centered online education experiences that promote critical thinking, military leadership development, and operational readiness. 
  • Provide instruction, grading, discussion facilitation, student feedback, mentoring, and curriculum support within Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Support Air University's Online Master's Degree Program (OLMP), Joint Professional Military Education (JPME), Officer Professional Military Education (OPME), and Enlisted Professional Military Education (EPME) programs. 
  • Participate in instructional design, curriculum enhancement, faculty development, educational technology integration, and program improvement initiatives. 
  • Prepare management reports, project plans, quality management documentation, staffing plans, and performance assessments. 
  • Collaborate with Government stakeholders to ensure high-quality educational delivery to more than 39,000 worldwide students annually.
Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or terminal degree in a discipline relevant to assigned curriculum area. Acceptable disciplines may include Political Science, National Security, Military History, Leadership, Public Administration, Organizational Leadership, Management, Warfare Studies, Airpower Studies, Joint Operations, Research, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching, facilitating, developing, or supporting online learning environments. 
  • Experience working within Professional Military Education (PME), higher education, military training, or related academic environments. 
  • Ability to meet Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) credentialing requirements. 
  • Successful completion of faculty development training and other Air Force Global College requirements. 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required government credentials, installation access, Common Access Card (CAC), and favorable background adjudication. 
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, organizational, and collaboration skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience teaching or facilitating online graduate-level or undergraduate-level coursework. 
  • Completion of Intermediate Developmental Education (IDE), Senior Developmental Education (SDE), JPME I, JPME II, or equivalent military education programs. 
  • Military service experience, particularly within the United States Air Force or Joint military environments. 
  • Operational military experience involving strategy, policy development, joint operations, command leadership, warfare studies, or national security.
  • Experience facilitating officer or enlisted Professional Military Education (PME) programs. 
  • Experience with Blackboard, Canvas, Moodle, or comparable Learning Management Systems (LMS). 
  • Experience supporting curriculum development, instructional design, faculty development, assessment, and educational technology initiatives. 
  • Joint Qualified Officer (JQO), Joint Qualified Senior Enlisted Leader, command experience, or equivalent military leadership experience.
