Job description

Description:

Job Summary: Logistical support for National Air & Energy's Construction Department. Duties include receiving of material and equipment, tracking company assets, backup support as delivery driver and restocking of returned material and equipment.

Essential Functions:

  1. Maintain an orderly and well-organized yard and warehouse
  2. Develop a system for which to organize and stage the yard in manner that can be replicated on a daily basis
  3. Receive material deliveries and properly inventory items for future order fulfillment
  4. Pull all material orders placed by field crews with in-stock items on site
  5. Work with National Air Purchasing Agent to fulfill all orders that require vendor involvement and properly account for items pulled from stock
  6. Stage orders for pick up and load National Air delivery truck for daily deliveries
  7. Maintain yard cleanliness at all times, keep trash and debris to a minimum
  8. Load and unload trucks using a forklift
  9. Inspect all shop tools and equipment for proper operation and damage upon return to the yard and delivery to new projects
  10. Adhere to all safety standards and exhibit a high regard to safety at all times
  11. Fill in as backup delivery driver for both service & construction departments
  12. Other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Knowledge, Skill and Experience Required:

Minimum Education: High School Diploma

Skills Required:

Current and valid forklift license and certification

Valid California driver's license with less than 4 points

Ability to safely operate power tools

Working knowledge of HVAC-related material and equipment

Understanding of construction industry terminology and practices

Strong organizational and communication skills

Physical Requirements

Ability to work outdoors on a daily basis and lift in excess of 50 lbs

Frequently standing and bending

This job is primarily assigned to an outdoor environment with occasional high noise levels, and uncontrollable temperatures
