What You'll Do

As an HVAC Install Assistant, you'll work alongside experienced HVAC Installers to complete residential heating and cooling system installations safely, efficiently, and professionally.

You will:

  • Assist with residential HVAC installations, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, ductless mini-splits, thermostats, and related equipment
  • Assist with removing and replacing existing HVAC equipment
  • Prepare equipment, materials, tools, and jobsites for installation
  • Use common HVAC hand and power tools safely and correctly
  • Assist with equipment replacements, system upgrades, and new installations
  • Help with basic installation tasks under the direction of an experienced Installer
  • Learn proper HVAC installation procedures and best practices
  • Assist with basic electrical, refrigerant, drain, ductwork, and equipment connections as directed
  • Learn how to identify and troubleshoot installation-related issues
  • Transport and organize equipment, materials, and tools
  • Follow instructions from Lead Installers and experienced team members
  • Follow company safety procedures and industry standards
  • Protect customers' homes and property throughout the installation
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized jobsites
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with homeowners
  • Help deliver an exceptional customer experience from start to finish
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles
