Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an HVAC Installer based in Lake Worth, FL.


The HVAC Installer will be responsible for installing complete air conditioning systems in residential and light commercial properties, ensuring all work is performed to the highest level of quality, safety, and professionalism.


Day-to-day responsibilities include system installations, equipment setup, testing newly installed systems, and ensuring all work meets manufacturer specifications and local codes.

This role also involves working closely with team members and maintaining a clean, professional presence on job sites, especially in high-end residential environments.


Key Responsibilities

• Install complete HVAC systems including air handlers, condensers, and ductwork

• Read and follow installation plans, layouts, and specifications

• Test newly installed systems to ensure proper operation

• Troubleshoot installation issues and make necessary adjustments

• Ensure all work complies with local codes and safety standards

• Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

• Represent EDS professionally when working in client homes


Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC installation experience preferred

• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical components, and installation practices

• Ability to read blueprints and installation layouts

• Experience using HVAC tools and equipment safely and effectively

• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally

• Physical ability to lift equipment and work in attics or confined spaces

• High school diploma or equivalent

• EPA Certification (preferred)

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
