Core Care Psychological Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, groups, couples, and families, employing a range of methodologies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring a reliable record of client progress.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and optimize client outcomes, facilitating consultations and case reviews as necessary.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions to stay current with emerging trends, practices, and research in the mental health field.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed, maintaining a calm and reassuring presence during challenging situations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a varied client population, including individuals and families who may have limited access to traditional mental health services. You will engage with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use issues, and other mental health disorders. Your contributions will directly impact their ability to manage and overcome these challenges, enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
  • Active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in counseling, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport and trust with a diverse clientele.
  • Solid understanding of legal and ethical guidelines pertinent to the practice of counseling.
  • Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related digital tools.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization or advanced training in family therapy, couples counseling, crisis intervention, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with communities facing barriers to accessing mental health care services,particularly in a clinical setting.
Compensation and Benefits

Core Care Psychological Services offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. In addition to a significant sign-on bonus for new LPCs, we provide comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, malpractice insurance, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
