Job description

The Strategy and Planning Analyst supports Global Cybersecurity Services (GCS) by driving structured planning, portfolio governance, and performance tracking across initiatives. This role blends analytical rigor, process engineering, and executive-level communication to improve operational efficiency, optimize resource allocation, and ensure business value realization.

The analyst serves as a strategic coordinator across geographically dispersed stakeholders and acts as a representative of GCS, requiring diplomacy, clarity, and influence at all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

Support development and maintenance of strategic plans, roadmaps, and investment priorities. Manage intake, prioritization, and alignment of initiatives to business objectives. Mature portfolio governance practices and ensure alignment with enterprise strategy.

Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to track initiative delivery, financial performance, and realized business value. Identify gaps and recommend corrective actions to improve outcomes.

Apply process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma principles) to optimize workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and standardize practices across planning and governance processes.

Coordinate large groups of cross-functional and globally distributed stakeholders. Foster strong relationships, ensure alignment, and drive accountability across initiatives.

Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and data-driven presentations for C-level and senior leadership. Distill complex information into executive-ready insights and actionable decisions.

Develop high-quality documentation including business cases, operating models, governance frameworks, and process documentation. Ensure accuracy, clarity, and accessibility of information.

Apply foundational corporate finance concepts to support budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and investment evaluation for cybersecurity initiatives.

Leverage AI tools to enhance day-to-day productivity, automate reporting and analysis, and improve data synthesis and decision-making speed.

Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics or related field

5-7 years experience as a Sr Analyst.

Must possess unrestricted work authorization

Must provide own transportation to/from work

Familiarity with cybersecurity data, metrics, or IT operations preferred

Experience supporting executive reporting and decision-making

Experience with automation and analytics platforms (Power Platform, SQL, etc.)

Familiarity with Corporate Finance

This position is classified as “in-office.”As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Monday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their home on Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
