What is an AI Technical Program Manager?

AI Technical Program Managers (AI TPMs) are professionals who oversee and coordinate the development and deployment of artificial intelligence projects within an organization. They bridge the gap between technical teams, such as data scientists and engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with company goals. AI TPMs are responsible for project planning, risk management, resource allocation, and facilitating communication across teams. Their role requires both a strong understanding of AI technologies and robust project management skills.

How does an AI Technical Program Manager typically collaborate with cross-functional teams during project development?

You'll facilitate regular meetings to align priorities, clarify requirements, and address any technical or resource challenges that arise. Effective communication and coordination across teams are essential, as you'll often bridge the gap between technical and non-technical contributors to deliver successful AI solutions on time and within scope.
