Job Description
This role supports the execution of the firm's generative AI initiatives by providing structured project coordination, tracking, and delivery support. Reporting into IT for project management standards and consistency, and working in close partnership with the Chief AI Officer, this role ensures AI-related projects are executed in alignment with firm priorities, governance expectations, and responsible AI practices.
This role does not define AI strategy or lead AI programs; it enables their execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Coordination & Delivery Support
  • Coordinate execution of generative AI initiatives, including pilots, use case deployments, integrations, and capability rollouts.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and task tracking aligned with direction from the Chief AI Officer and AI leadership.
  • Track deliverables, dependencies, and milestones to ensure consistent forward progress.

Partnership with AI Leadership
  • Work directly with the Chief AI Officer to translate strategic priorities into actionable project plans.
  • Support intake, prioritization, and sequencing of AI-related work across the firm.
  • Ensure alignment between project execution and evolving AI strategy and governance.

Stakeholder Engagement
  • Coordinate across IT, Innovation, Knowledge Management, Legal Practice Groups, Risk, and other business teams.
  • Prepare clear, concise updates for stakeholders, including executive-level reporting on status, risks, and outcomes.
  • Support communication and change management efforts tied to AI adoption. .

Operational Discipline
  • Apply firm-standard project management practices to AI initiatives, ensuring consistency with broader IT delivery.
  • Maintain centralized tracking of all active AI projects and pilots.
  • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate appropriately to AI and IT leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
  • 5+ years of project coordination or project management experience, ideally within IT, innovation, or emerging technology initiatives.
  • Experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.
  • Exposure to AI, data, or digital transformation initiatives is a strong plus.
  • Strong organizational and execution skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving, evolving domain with shifting priorities.
  • Clear and concise communicator, comfortable engaging with executive leadership and attorneys.
  • Ability to work across functions without direct authority.
  • PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Familiarity with AI concepts, data governance, or emerging technology frameworks is a plus.
  • Execution-focused with strong attention to detail.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in an evolving, less-defined space.
  • Collaborative, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • High degree of discretion given the sensitivity of client data and emerging technologies.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

The expected salary range for this position is $120k - $135k. Final compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skill set, and geographic location.
