As aGroup Product Managerfor the AV Capabilityteamyouare an expert Product Leader responsiblefor shaping and executing the strategy, roadmap, and success metrics fortheportfolio of autonomy capabilitiesthat will be deployed inGM's next generationAV products.This role leads a team of AV Capability Product Managers and works closely withEmbodied AI,Systems Engineering,Consumerand platform partners to translate GM's product strategy into high-impact capability outcomes, ensuring delivery at scale, quality, and paceneed to meet the product milestones.Success requires strong technical judgment, principled decision-making, and the ability to build alignment across engineering, infrastructure, andother cross functionalteams. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, making tough tradeoffs, and translating business needs into engineering priorities.

WhatYou'llDo

  • Own the product vision and roadmap forAVCapabilitiesfor GM'snext generationautonomy products,balancing engineering constraints, business needs, andinternal platform dependencies.

  • Communicate roadmaps, priorities, experiments, and decisions clearly across a wide spectrum of audiences from internal customers to executives.

  • Synthesize technical and analytical insights into PRDs and requirements that provideengineers andpartners with a clear understanding of what to do and why.

  • Lead executives and key partners through sophisticated decisions to drive progress toward our strategic goals.

  • Partner closely with Engineering, Program management, Data Science, Commercial operations, Systems Engineering and Consumer Product to define goals and the roadmap needed to reach them.

  • Identifyand lead improvements to the team's innovation andapproachenabling us to scale our team andimpact.

  • Exemplify outstanding product development and management practices in everything you touch.

  • Define, track, and analyze key product metrics and performance data to measure success andidentifyimprovement areas.

  • Mentor and develop other product managers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

  • Stay updated onnew technologyand competitive products to drive continuous improvement,anticipatethreats, andidentifyrisks

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • 8+ years of product management or related industry experience.

  • 2+ years of managing teams

  • Proven experience withtechnicalproduct management and leading the entire product lifecycle from concept to introduction.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data.

  • Excellent presentation abilities to drive a concrete vision and rally the team.

  • Technicalproficiencyin problem-solving with complex software solutions

  • Experience defining vision and strategy for softwareproducts

  • Exceptionalcommunication and leadership skills, withthe ability to drive stakeholder buy-in.

  • Proven oral and written communication skills; ability to become fluent in technical concepts and explain to non-technicalpartners

  • Comfortable with complex and ambiguous problems and situations, and adept atidentifyinga project'srisks

  • Enthusiastic and resilient in a constantly evolving environment where creative solutions are the norm.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Mastersor Doctorate degree in related field

  • Experience working with data scientists and AI/ML teams on software development tools, pipelines, andrelease

  • Experience fostering innovation and driving change in complexorganizations

  • Experience shipping hardware or AI driven consumer products

Hybrid:This role is categorized ashybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to theWarren, MI or Mountain View, CA office three times per week, at minimum.

Compensation:The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of the California Bay Area.

The salary range for this role is $134,700 to $245,00. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.

Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.

Note: program participants are required to purchase/lease a qualifying GM vehicle every four years unless one of a limited number of exceptions applies.
