Job description

The Enterprise Engineering Product Management team builds productivity tools used by hundreds of thousands of Amazonians worldwide spanning corporate offices, customer service, fulfillment centers, and a diverse development community. We are seeking a Senior Product Manager - Technical to own hands-on delivery of AI-powered products and process automation at Amazon scale.
This is a builder role. You will personally develop proof-of-concept solutions, automate product workflows end-to-end, and translate customer needs into working prototypes that accelerate the product development lifecycle. You'll use AI as your primary tool, from spec creation through production and raise the bar for how AI is embedded into everyday product work. You will define product requirements through hands-on experimentation, collaborate directly with engineering to move validated prototypes into production, and partner with AWS teams on platform integration.
This role requires coordination across internal and external teams. You work with customers, partners, and operational stakeholders to evaluate emerging technologies, rapidly prototype solutions, and drive adoption of AI tools that measurably improve team velocity.
You bring: Exceptional problem-solving skills. Deep, hands-on experience building with AI/ML tools (not just evaluating them). Sound business judgment. A track record of personally shipping high-impact technical solutions - not just writing requirements for others to build. You can articulate when a new technology is needed (and when it is not), and you back that judgment with direct experience. An engineering background is required.
Key job responsibilities
Own end-to-end delivery of AI-powered products for Enterprise Engineering - from problem identification through working prototype to production launch.
Build and validate proof-of-concept solutions hands-on, using AI tools as a force multiplier
Identify and implement automation across product management workflows (BRD, PRFAQ, POC creation, spec-driven development).
Define product requirements informed by rapid prototyping and direct experimentation - not just stakeholder interviews.
Evaluate and apply emerging AI/ML technologies to solve real customer problems and accelerate delivery.
Collaborate directly with AWS team members on Quick product integration and support
Partner with engineering to move validated prototypes into production-ready features.
Reprioritize dynamically and demonstrate bias for action by shipping working solutions quickly
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
