Job description

We are looking for an experienced AI Product Owner to lead the strategy, definition, and delivery of AI-powered products and solutions. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, data/AI teams, engineering, and users to translate business needs into scalable AI products that deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the AI product vision, strategy, roadmap, and backlog.
  • Translate business objectives and user needs into clear AI product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and priorities.
  • Partner with Data Science, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Engineering, Data Engineering, UX, and business teams to deliver AI solutions.
  • Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities for AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, LLMs, and automation.
  • Define product requirements for AI capabilities including predictive analytics, intelligent automation, recommendation systems, conversational AI, and GenAI applications.
  • Work closely with technical teams to understand data requirements, model capabilities, integrations, APIs, and platform dependencies.
  • Manage product backlog, sprint planning, prioritization, release planning, and stakeholder communication using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Define and monitor product KPIs, adoption metrics, business outcomes, model performance, and ROI.
  • Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements-gathering sessions.
  • Collaborate with AI/ML teams to establish appropriate model evaluation, monitoring, explainability, quality, and governance requirements.
  • Ensure AI products address data privacy, security, responsible AI, regulatory, and compliance considerations.
  • Coordinate UAT, product validation, release readiness, and production rollout.
  • Continuously evaluate market trends and emerging AI/GenAI technologies and identify opportunities for product innovation.
  • Communicate product strategy, progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership and business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of overall product management, business analysis, technology, or related experience.
  • Proven experience working as a Product Owner / Product Manager for technology or data-driven products.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and AI product lifecycle.
  • Experience working with Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, predictive analytics, or intelligent automation.
  • Strong experience with Agile/Scrum, product backlog management, user stories, prioritization, and sprint execution.
  • Experience translating complex business requirements into technical/product requirements.
  • Strong understanding of data, analytics, APIs, cloud platforms, and technology integrations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience delivering enterprise AI products from concept/POC through production.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud AI services.
  • Exposure to OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with RAG, vector databases, LLM applications, prompt engineering, or AI agents.
  • Knowledge of Responsible AI, AI governance, model risk, privacy, and security.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar product management tools.
  • Experience working in large enterprise environments.
